After completing a successful 36-year career as President and CEO of a large regional advertising agency headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Ed Lane moved to Maui and began to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a "full-time" artist. Actually, he has been an artist all of his life.

Ed's training began as a child. Surrounded by artists in his family, his creative abilities were recognized and encouraged. He studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and the William Rockhill Nelson Art Museum in Kansas City, Missouri.
