"Koawood Hall Table"
46" long x 18" wide x 31" High
Designed and Handcrafted by
Shaun Fleming
$8,600

Made from one of the rarest woods on the planet, "curly-grain" Hawaiian Koa. Designed with contrasting shades of this spectacular wood, the top is bookmatched Koa veneer to allow for proper contraction and expansion. It is bordered with an insert of darker Hawaiian pheasant wood. There are 4 custom designed glass spheres, created by Maui master glass artisan Mike Worchester, which serve to support the top.

At first glance this beautifully designed work of wood art has the appearence of a Chinese Alter Table, but a closer look reveals the subtle lines of a more contemporary piece of "bench-made" furniture.

The table is given multi-layer sanding, oiled and then finished with handrubbed lacquer and a buffed glaze. If there is one thing that Shaun Fleming is known for, it is her uncanny ability to allow the wood to speak for itself.

This is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of furniture that is of heirloom quality, which your family can enjoy for generations to come.

Are You A Former
Hotel Hana-Maui Guest?

During a recent renovation of the Hotel Hana-Maui, several Maui-based artists were commissioned to create artwork specifically suited to the newly decorated guest suites. The owners of the hotel purchased the original paintings and then had a small edition of Artist Proofs published to be displayed in the rooms.

Now the small numbered portion of the edition, handsigned by the individual artists, has been published. You may view some of these very limited edition prints by visiting the Hotel Hana-Maui Collection
